The South Korean label building vintage casualwear to be worn until it's yours.
Most clothing is designed for the first wear. Khakis designs for the hundredth. Launched in South Korea in 2020, the label takes its cues from vintage casualwear, the everyday staples that have been getting better with age for decades, and rebuilds them for daily life. Form and function lead every decision. Trends don't factor in.
MADE TO LAST
The brand's slogan is MADE TO LAST, and it works less like a tagline than a design brief. Every silhouette and detail is developed around how clothing actually gets used: commutes, long days, the wash cycle, the same piece worn three times in a week. Durability isn't a feature added at the end. It's where the process starts.
That approach leads somewhere more personal. Khakis builds clothing meant to become more familiar over time, like the jacket that has taken the shape of its owner's shoulders or the trousers reached for without thinking. Instead of locking into a fixed style, each piece is made to fit whatever the day looks like.
FALL/WINTER 2026: READING THE PAST
For F/W 2026, Khakis designed with a specific person in mind: the young collector of the past. This is the generation that digs through vintage racks, old films, secondhand books, and art archives, not out of nostalgia, but to work out what they actually value. The collection follows the same process. Vintage garments and objects, cinema, literature, and art all feed in, filtered through the eras and sensibilities the brand keeps returning to.
The result reads less like a costume and more like a well-edited wardrobe, with references that can be felt without needing to be named.
Khakis arrives at Union Los Angeles this season, online and in-store.
