  • DESCRIPTION

    For the printables for ss22 we experimented with some extra finishing (washes, printing techniques and the likes) this season. We really love the wash and feel of the product this season, look carefully and you will see a higher quality print, wash and feel to the product. We elevated this season’s tee’s and fleece by using various techniques:

    • We pigment-dyed the colors to create a more vintage-inspired palette. 
    • Secondly, every screen was Teflon heat-stamped after printing to reduce plastisol bulk and improve hand feel. 
    • Finally, we finished the printed and dyed garments with a heavy enzyme wash to make them feel even more broken in, with improved drape and softer screen prints, ultimately creating and simulating a more cohesive lived-in appearance.
    Fuck it, if they want to sue us. go ahead. Gotta give it up for Giant Step on this one.  Back in the mid 90’s when I first moved to NYC, I was an unadulterated “backpacker” Giant Step nights at SOB’s were the mother fucking truth!!! Early Jazz, hip hop fusion with live art. Those were the good ol days…
