    Bode was the first female designer to show at NYFW: Men's. She has been paving the way for women entrepreneurs and designers in the menswear industry with her unique narratives. It begun with workwear silhouettes, blended with female-centric traditions of quilting and mending garments of antique textiles. Each and every piece created reinvigorates through the art of storytelling. 

    This short-sleeve short is inspired by a novelty kitchen tablecloth, circa 1940s-1960s. The reference tablecloth was likely brought to the usa as a souvenir from europe. This embroidery technique has its roots in italy and hungary, known as bargello and hungarian point, and was first popularized during the italian renaissance.
