Since Chris never seems to be keep ya'll updated on these trips around the world.. I figured I would jump in and take it over for my recent Japan trip for UNION.
Day 1.. all work with a little bit of play.
First stop was the NEIGHBORHOOD showroom. Can't show you whats in store for Spring '16 just yet but expect a few really dope surprises very soon.
A 12 hour flight from LA to Japan can cause serious jetlag so I had to stop by the F.I.L. shop and grab there famously expensive $8 coffee and peep out all the goodness we are never offered here in the states.
One floor up from the F.I.L. shop is the "Indigo Camping Trailer." Always a tease as they never have anything in my size or I am to broke to afford any of it.
We have been carrying retaW for about half a year now and its definitely become a staple household item for myself and everyone else at the shop. After hearing that they finally opened there first brick and mortar store right in the heart of Harajuku, I had to stop by to visit my boy Zen and peep their soft opening before it opened to the public.
retaW store Harajuku
4-26-22 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
The shop is small but straight to the point. Super casual and easy... you come in, grab what you need, and dip. If you are ever in Tokyo.. it's a must stop! They also have an exclusive scent called "Harajuku" that smells AMAZING (a new personal favorite). People were coming in and buying it in bulk!
Note to self.. NEVER go back to the hotel to chill... I ended up knocking out till midnight after my meetings.
Of all the places I have been and people I have met.. Japanese people are the BEST hosts. Zen from retaW hit me up about a Wacko Maria & Neckface after party at the TRUMP in Shibuya and I couldn't say no. Definitely good times had by all..
Ended the night with Ramen at 5AM. No pictures because I too drunk to grab a taxi let alone use my phone.
Stay tuned for Day 2!
