Recorded in 1956 and released in 1961 as the third collaboration between Art Pepper and Chet Baker, Playboys is a perfect
example of easy listening bop. Like much of Chet Baker's work, its not so complicated as it is essentially pop music of its day.
The album was a source of contention for Hugh Hefner who sued Blue Note records for the similarities to his adult entertainment
magazine for men. The 1998 CD reissue was retitled Picture of Heath and featured a new track listing. The album has since been restored
