Short Film Special Jury Award

Remember the Flying Lotus video we posted back in September? Well, it was announced last week to have won a special short film jury award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival!!! A big CONGRATUATIONS to our boy Kahlil Joseph for directing the short film and, of course, to the little Gibbs boys, Solomon and Ishmael, for their acting talent!!! "Shot in the Nickerson Gardens housing projects in Watts, Los Angeles, this film deals with themes of violence, camaraderie and spirituality through the lens of magical realism."
