Do you believe in magical burgers at the liquor store?

Wither a good burger? Can a beautiful, restaurant quality burger be lurking in the back of the corner store?

One of the more interesting things about this place is the location. Its located in a standard run-of-the-mill liquor store just a few blocks from the beach. However when the establishment was purchased by a former chef, he wisely took note of the kitchen that the structure came with. He then took it upon himself to create an assortment of magic burgers that must be experienced. All of this lends itself to a sort of "hole-in-the-wall" experience done very well.

The Naked burger (pictured in the left) was a classic styled burger, it was a hearty, sweaty, wet, cheesy, gooey, piece of genius that hit the spot. The Cash (pictured on the right), was a unique burger from the future. It was spicy, had killer sauce, and felt like trip to Burger Heaven. Also the truffle parmesan fries are the stuff of legend, laced with seaweed to give them a more distinct taste fusing elements of Asian cuisine with that of good old fashioned American goonery. Be forewarned: They are highly addictive.

A great burger from a family owned spot by the beach. A great option for a beach trip with the family or friends. Or late night, on the dolo, or perhaps after a night of HAMing (raging), either way The Standing Room (located in Redondo Beach) is one of the best kept secrets in the L.A. area, and if you love burgers the way we do, then you owe it to yourself to try one.

Don't forget your moms yo! She might want one too....
