Beyond Fest is a world genre film festival dedicated to delivering the very best in horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and badass cinema. Created by a collective of film nerds / cultural innovators, our mission is to deliver an experience that builds and serves the genre film community.
Festival programming is globally sourced and comprises of a diverse and eclectic mix of gala premieres, rare retrospectives, and special events. The criteria for programming is simple: it has to be a first for Los Angeles, and it has to be jaw-dropping.
Spanning two October weeks, Beyond Fest is based exclusively at the home of the original Hollywood premieres: the world-famous Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Boulevard – and generates funds for the non-profit film institution, American Cinematheque.
